This new system fea- tures automation from the primary sam- ple tube, greater traceability, and higher throughput, in addition to an unparal- leled degree of flexibility. The new eMAG system can be used with a broad vari- ety of biological samples: whole blood, plasma, serum, stool, respiratory sam- ples, and cerebrospinal fluid—extracting 48 samples in 90 minutes directly from a primary sample, handling all sample types in a single series. The eMAG system is CE-marked and available on the Euro- pean and U.S. markets. bioMérieux ChIP-seq Assay Kit for Histone Methylation The Chromatrap® ChIP-seq kit uses solid-state technology in parallel with high-through- put sequencing to deliver a streamlined ChIP-seq protocol from small cell numbers and low chromatin concentrations to investigate the epigenetic landscape. Specifically adapted for broader chromatin concentrations, Chromatrap ChIP-seq combines the dynamic range of Chromatrap with the downstream analysis power of deep sequencing. The new kit allows users to perform up to 24 ChIP assays from cell collection through to immunoprecipitation, including up to 10 chromatin sam- ple preparations. The kit provides all the major components required for per- forming ChIP assays, to obtain high-quality DNA for next-generation sequencing library preparation. With the Chromatrap ChIP-seq kit you can sequence from as little as 1–50 µg of chromatin and perform up to 10 library preparations form a single IP. A complete assay can be completed in just two days. ChromaTrap PCR Optimization Kit This new PCR Optimization Kit allows customers to rapidly define their own unique PCR master mix manufactured under cGMP for research or clinical use. The user's defined optimal solution may then be ordered from Promega at any time with a unique part number as a custom cGMP master mix for shipment within ten business days. The PCR Opti- mization Kit includes magnesium chlo- ride, GoTaq® MDx Hot Start Polymerase, and eight PCR buffers with an array of performance characteristics, all manu- factured under cGMP. Assay developers will no longer be forced to settle for one- size-fits-all catalog master mixes. Early access users have identified their ideal PCR assays in as little as one month from receipt of the PCR Optimization Kit. Promega Plasmid Purification Kits The ZymoPURE™ Plasmid Miniprep Kit yields up to 80 µg of ultra-pure and highly concentrated plasmid DNA. Syringe fil- ters allow rapid lysate cleaning, and the spin-column design allows the binding step to be performed using a vacuum or centrifuge. The ZymoPURE-EndoZero™ Kit uses a modified alkaline lysis method and a unique binding chemistry that yields highly concentrated plasmid DNA, up to 3 µg/µl. The kit includes EndoZero™ spin-columns that reduce endotoxins to 0.025 EU/µg of plasmid DNA. Finally, the ZymoPURE-Express™ Plasmid Midiprep Kit isolates high-quality endotoxin-free plasmid DNA directly from culture in only 15 minutes. By removing pelleting and resuspension steps, highly con- centrated DNA (up to 1.5 µg/µL) can be eluted directly from the microcentrifuge column. Zymo Research
